Congratulations to the iGroup team for launching the new Suze Orman website. Suze Orman, a financial guru, #1 bestselling author and star of CNBC's "The Suze Show" re-launched her site with a new look and increased functionality.
I read with interest the article in MediaPost about online holiday shopping on Black Friday and the "Big 5 weekend". Since I wasn't a big fan of the retailers opening their stores on Thanksgiving (Ok, I get it, everyone is competing for the revenue - but come on, let people enjoy the holiday with the families - but that's just me.) the mobile numbers were of interest to me.
Sure the number of followers to your site is important. I mean who doesn't want a million followers? Ashton Kutcher was the first to hit a million, now Lady Gaga has over 30 million - but is it all about numbers when you are a business?
I read this article today and it really struck me - Nacie Carson at Fast Company writes "Like chocolate and peanut butter, strategy and tactics go better together. Unlike chocolate and peanut butter, having only one might kill your business" - when you build your website, do you have a search engine optimization strategy and a plan of attack or are you missing your peanut butter?
